Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born on March 4, 1954), is a Canadian-American actress and comedian. O'Hara is the proud recipient of several distinctions that include an award called the Genie Award. In 2018, O'Hara was named as an Officer of Canada. She was also awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara first became known as an actress in 1974 when she was a member of The Second City in Toronto. Alongside John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara was a part of Candy in the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984). The show received the attention of critics both for her writing and acting skills and was honored with the Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Series. O'Hara was included in the brand-new Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board included Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
